BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy serves the specialty medication needs of our patients while also contributing to the health and welfare of patients worldwide through our partnership with the non-profit OneWorld Health. We support their mission of providing quality, affordable care to communities in need.

After partnering with OneWorld Health for the past several years, it’s been amazing to watch their dedication to patient care accelerate, even during the challenging times of the pandemic. OneWorld Health is now celebrating the grand opening of their newest facility, located in Honduras. This clinic provides affordable, high-quality healthcare to those in need, in a country still experiencing surging Covid-19, scarce access to vaccines, and overwhelmed hospitals. They only just opened their brick-and-mortar doors, but their telehealth services have already helped care for 18,000 Hondurans in this community.

With the help of partners like BioPlus and individual donors, OneWorld Health has served 555,512 patients (and counting) through numerous self-sustaining medical centers in developing countries. The BioPlus 2gether program donates one life-saving antibiotic to OneWorld Health for every referral we receive from prescribers.
