BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy Announces Key Executives in Pharma and Payer Relations

BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy, the #1 ranked specialty pharmacy by prescribers and patients, according to independent industry surveys, today announces the additions of Dave Walker as Vice President of Trade and Mike Harris as Vice President of Payer Sales. This expanded senior team will continue to drive business growth and expansion for BioPlus. 

As Vice President of Trade, Dave Walker will establish and maintain strong business relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers across key market verticals. Most recently, Walker worked at Walmart, Prime Therapeutics, and Walgreens where he held senior positions in trade and drove market access. “Dave is well-known and well-respected in the specialty pharmacy industry. He will play a critical role in helping BioPlus continue to scale,” notes Mark Montgomery, BioPlus President. 

Mike Harris joins BioPlus as the Vice President of Payer Sales. Harris brings more than a decade of experience in leading top performing sales teams and negotiating major managed care contracts across the country. Previously, he held leadership positions in sales at Accredo and Magellan. “Mike brings considerable experience and excellence to the table, which will ultimately benefit our prescribers and patients,” adds Montgomery. As BioPlus continues its rapid growth, Harris will focus on establishing new relationships with health plans and expanding BioPlus’ existing contracts with strategic growth initiatives.
